Air Ops Senior Ground Safety Specialist

To provide a safe environment worldwide for Air Operations personnel through the identification and elimination of risk by providing corrective actions for injuries and aircraft damages. Identifying regulatory compliance issues and making specific recommendations for resolution.

Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in safety or related discipline; professional accreditation (OHST, ASP, CSP, CIH) preferred. Three (3) years’ experience in at least one of the following areas: industrial hygiene (IH), industrial/ occupational safety, fire prevention, accident investigation and dangerous Goods. Comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety regulations and related standards (OSHA). Strong investigative, analytical, communications and human relations skills. Experience in aviation industry preferred.Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Construction Safety Specialist

The Construction Safety Specialist performs duties in support of the RF MacDonald Health and Safety Programs. Under direction of the Corporate Safety Manager, performs a full range of moderate duties in support of the RF MacDonald construction and contractor safety program. The purpose of this role is to manage safety and risk associated with the construction project at 29 Palms Marine Corps base and contracted work to ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
