Joint LARIMS Event: Safety – A Key Part of any Risk Management Program

  •  March 20, 2019
     11:30 am - 1:30 pm

We’re excited to partner with the LA Chapter Risk and Insurance Management Society (LA RIMS) in hosting a joint Educational Luncheon. Our March meeting will focus on Cal/OSHA. As Safety Managers, this will be a great meeting to network with Risk Managers and learn more about the ever-evolving health and safety regulations.

Join LA RIMS and LA ASSP to receive a Cal/OSHA Update from Dan Leiner, Cal/OSHA Area Manager. Attendees will:

  • Understand Cal/OSHA – Enforcement, consultation, citations & penalties, and areas of focus
  • Review hot topics e.g., heat illness, tree trimming, working in smoky environments, Cal/OSHA and the cannabis industry
  • Regulatory update – electronic recordkeeping, hotel housekeeping, indoor heat illness, etc.
  • Review frequently cited standards and what employers can do

We hope you can join us for this unique opportunity to collaborate with our colleagues in the risk side of the business. See the event details about the time and NEW location for this meeting.
