Speaker Terry Lawson

Terry Lawson is a physical therapist licensed in California and Hawaii.  He is also a certified ergonomist. He is the founder his injury prevention and management consulting firm and functional testing network, working with local, regional, and nationwide private and public employers in the design, implementation, training, and practice of functional testing and related services. Terry has nearly 35 years of experience in a wide variety of practice settings; 25 years, in injury prevention and management. His clients include public school districts, city and county governments, third-party administrators, joint powers authorities, workers’ compensation and disability insurers, airlines, utilities, transportation, waste management, manufacturing, and healthcare companies.  Mr. Lawson was recognized for his contributions to California and Texas workers’ compensation reform through his executive summary “Function” which was entered into both states congressional record.
