Topic Inclusive Leadership – Creating Environments Where Diversity Can Thrive

Around the world, organizations and customers are growing more diverse. Our responsibility as leaders is to create environments where diversity can thrive. Inclusive leaders create environments where people of all backgrounds feel respected, can contribute their talent and perspectives, and are given fair access to meaningful opportunity. The purpose of this lunch and learn (group discussion and exercises) is to empower health and safety leaders with the critical knowledge and skills they need to build more inclusive workplaces, manage diverse teams, and serve diverse clients and customers.

Session Objectives

  • To enhance one’s ability to recognize, understand and appreciate difference
  • To consider the value of, and business imperative for, diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Explore one’s own assumptions and unconscious biases
  • Develop and implement  strategies to be more inclusive in their leadership approach
