Are you currently studying towards any BCSP certifications? Or do you plan to undergo any certifications in the near future?
The ASSP Los Angeles Chapter strongly supports professional development and professional certification of its membership. As such, we endeavor to connect members who are studying for upcoming certifications so that they can form local study groups.
If you feel that you would benefit from exam preparation alongside your safety peers, please contact Tim Melvin, Vice President, at firstname.lastname@example.org with details on where you are located, what you’re studying towards, and when you plan to take the exam. From there, we look to help you locate others in the Chapter who are in the same pursuit, so that you can form an informal study group. The format of these groups is up to you – whether you want to meet virtually or in-person – as well as the preparation strategies that would best suit the members.
Just as ASSP is the leading provider of high-quality education for occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals, the Board of Certified Safety Professionals provides the “gold standard” in safety certifications. BCSP credentials indicate you have met rigorous educational, experience and examination requirements for the safety profession — giving you a competitive advantage professionally. While such credentials are not necessary to join ASSP, we’re here to help you earn those credentials so you can advance your career.
